About Us
Jaguar Ta Nu Films is a production house that believes in blending expertise with bubbling ideas. It is comprised of a team of creative and passionate people all led by the brilliant and incredibly talented Dr. Chandrashekhar Joshi. All our members are skilled and have the capacity to handle every part of the production process.

A jaguar is said to symbolize grace, elegance, versatility and power. Keeping these qualities in mind, we aim to grow with leaps and bounds. Maintaining a noble elegance through our creations, we work towards achieving a greater versatility in storytelling through our films all while nurturing different tastes and ideas.

Currently, our filmography includes the short film The Chase and Hunger, both directed by Dr. Joshi.
Our Tenets
LIFE :
Films, with the incredible access to visual arts, attempt to create life-like situation in cinema. Rather, a film scene is considered as the most authentic presentation of life. Whether it is Bicycle Thieves (Vittorio de Sica, 1948 Italy), Pather Panchali (Satyajit Ray, 1955, India), The Godfather (Francis Ford Coppola, 1972, US) or Anand (Hrushikesh Mukharjee, 1971, India) or even Gangubai Kathiawadi (Sanjay Leela Bhansali, 2022, India), all such films created life-size characters and situations that we found identities in.

CULTURE:
The degree of artistic excellence defines the cultural standard of any society. Therefore, all the artforms such as literature, theater, painting, music and so on play important role in the development of a society. Cinema, being the youngest of these arts, combines all the arts and attempt a composite presentation. As far the Cinema is concerned, while the Hollywood boasts of presenting grandeur of life, the European Cinema endeavors for values in life, in addition to pursue the language of Cinema.

SOCIETY:
Society is the main source of identity for films. Like literature, the films also reflect life and characteristics of individuals in a society. At times, society and film are in egg-and-hen complex. While a number of things that appear on the screen inspire the viewers, the filmmakers aspire to mirror the life and time of society around.
